The word ‘Phaeton’ comes from the Greek myth of Phaethon, son of Helios “The Sun-God”. Our name comes from the Sun-God, father of PHAETON also. As GÜNEŞ FAYTON we have manufactured faithful phaetons, horse drawn sleighs and various mobile kiosks in Manisa, Akhisar. Our factory provides service in a confined space occupying 900 squares meters. We are capable of manufacturing 2-3 pcs. phaetons or mobile kiosks. We manufacture total 8 models of phaetons and 9 mobile kiosks with various sizes and dimensions. We are together to survive a profession facing extinction with our 10 employees in a factory with an appearance of a nostalgic neighborhood.

We are the first and only factory for manufacturing faithfully phaetons in an organizational structure on continuous basis in Turkey. We are one of 10 phaeton factories in the world. We are under development by technology. But our goals are to maintain the old faithfully without modifying it and to offer it in accordance with today’s conditions.

A Certificate of Design Registration was issued by Turkish Patent Institute for the kiosks designed and manufactured by us and their quality was certified with “CE” Conformity Certificate.

Our phaetons as a part of our culture are environment friendly nostalgic means creating physical facilities making visits and trips easier in the significant areas for tourism. Our products fall within the vehicles which may be supported by KOSGEB (small and medium industry development organization) and Developmental Agencies).

It is impossible to manufacture a phaeton with one or two builders. Manufacture of a phaeton requires a team and a coordinated team work. Our products are made of dried beech, pine and ash woods. The said woods received as kiln-dried are used 4-5 years after being kept in our special storehouses. Wood carving is made by hand and hot forging process takes place in smith craft. Products which are painted by acrylic auto paint are laid and upholstered by our own builder in our own shop. Nostalgic patters in our products are created diligently by hand by our muralist. All accessories used by us are made of real brass by hand.

Phaeton manufacturing is a result of team work. It is impossible to manufacture a classic phaeton with one or two builders. Principally appropriate and well-qualified materials should be acquired for phaeton manufacturing. Well-dried ash tree may be formed only by a well-qualified wheelwright to a real carriage wheel. Dried beech and pine as reinforced by hot forging process forms the main frame of the phaeton.

As for painting it is necessary to have a well-equipped spraying booth and to use painting materials of registered quality as well as appropriate devices and teams. Painted products are laid and upholstered by our own builder in our own upholstering shop. Final process following upholstering is completed by our muralist. All accessories used by us are made of real brass. We are together to survive a profession facing extinction with our 10 employees in a factory with an appearance of a nostalgic neighborhood.

Governorates, District Governorates, Metropolitan Municipalities, Universities, Museums, Tourism Establishments, Film Corporations and Shopping Malls.
Importing Companies are principally Romania, Germany, United Kingdom, Russia, Norway, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Belarus, UAE (Dubai), Kuwait, Malaysia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Cyprus and Chili. Our products are welcomed admiringly. We have been proud of the visits to our factory and interest of press and media in our firm.
